The Museum is the repository for one of the worlds largest and most historically important collections of Southern antebellum, wartime, and postwar quilts. There are approximately 30 quilts in the collection, with materials ranging from silk to wool to cotton homespun. The entire quilt collection was photographed in 2010 and we have selected some outstanding examples for this online exhibition.
Please note that these quilts are not on display in the Museum. However, most can be viewed by appointment. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Funding for this project was provided by: National Quilting Association, Albemarie Antiquarian Society, and Mrs. Peri Urvek.
